Lincoln Cathedral Print by Pixelglo Photography

Donating a Lincoln Cathedral Print to support the Lincoln MS Centre.

Just a quick update of news! I’m happy to write that I’ll be donating a framed print to the Lincoln MS Centre as part of their Valentines Day Raffle this coming February 14th 2017.

The print will feature Lincoln Cathedral in black and white, encased and sealed within a premium finish dark wood frame.

Hopefully this will make a nice addition to someone’s living space, and more importantly, raise important funds for the Lincoln MS Centre who do sterling work caring and supporting those affected by MS.

Lincolnshire Photographer’s View Of Lincoln

As an enthusiastic Lincolnshire photographer, I had to photograph and document the sights of Lincoln.

The pictures below were taken within Lincoln, and also out within the larger Lincolnshire county.

A Short Introduction To Lincoln
For those not familiar with Lincoln, it’s all small cathedral city nestled in the heart of Lincolnshire, right on the border between the North and the South of England. Some would argue it’s more Northern than Southern? I stay away from that debate!

Grounded on thousands of years of history, Lincoln today is a growing and developing city. It’s not as big as somewhere like Sheffield or Leeds, but I think more like York? In both size and what is has to offer.

At the heart of Lincoln stands Lincoln University. An excellent and expanding education center offering more and more each year, and the Campus itself is such a pleasure to explore. The Lincoln High Street is regenerating, and changing to the demands of shoppers seeing an influx of coffee shops! This isn’t a bad thing by the way. Finally, business in Lincoln seems to be “on the up”, so it’s a good time to be here.

Lincoln also boasts stunning “visible” history including the awe inspiring Cathedral, and several Roman ruins. No matter how many times you see these landmarks, they never lose their ability to inspire.

“Go beyond the city limits, and you have miles upon miles of open country, dotted with villages, beautiful coastlines, and many, many, many many fields.”

Lincoln Cathedral is set upon a hill.

The Cathedral is almost 1000 years old, and was the tallest building in the world for over 200 years.

And there’s even somewhere to sit.

Afterwards, why not take a trip down the famous “Steep Hill”, and visit the shops along the way?
